Verus' Mobile Mapping Technology
Employing point cloud and photo collection through mobile, static, unmanned airborne vehicle (UAV) and airborne LiDAR, Verus is able to collect a full 3D representation of existing conditions for any project in a fraction of the time required for ground crew survey. Verus’ mobile mapping workflow is done with a truck-mounted mobile mapper. Six cameras collect 360° panoramic photo record every 4 metres of travel, the LiDAR collects 1.3 million points per second and the truck can collect data accurately up to any speed limit in Canada.
Verus offers post-processing of the geo-referenced LiDAR and/or digital imaging data into a viewable 3D image representation, which can then be exported into industry standard formats such as computer-aided drafting and design (CADD) and geographic information systems (GIS).
The detection swath is approximately 150 metres wide.
